generally clean and quiet. some restrooms north of F group are still not in service and have been closed several years. camp host was great, and the improved bike path is nice.

Stayed at site A24 in Diamond Lake Loop in a 31' Class A Motorhome. Site was fairly level but we did have to use three pieces of 4x10 fir header under three of our auto-leveling jack stands. Large, beautiful area full of blooming Fireweed right alongside site. Filtered views of the lake - sunny most of the day in early August. Bit of a walk to either restrooms or water spigots, if needed.

We absolutely love this place! It’s such a beautiful and relaxing spot, and we always look forward to coming back every summer. We’ve visited several times and have always had a wonderful experience. Great spot, although camp site was very dusty. Would suggest placing barkchips to help with this and still allow for siting a tent. Also soap in the bathrooms would be nice.

Always (30 + years) a great experience at Diamond Lake but the campground facilities are run down and need maintenance. Water supply was off to part of our loop as well. Limited hours at the gatehouse and few, if any, educational sessions at the amphitheater. Still have great campground hosts for any support you need. The lodge area (not Forest Service) was still nice with swimming, boat rentals, and so forth.
