Love this campground! It’s close to crater lake and was very quiet and well maintained. Water was a great temp in July!

The site was a bit small and uneven, but we managed to fit six tents. You just have to get creative with placement. Plus the view was amazing with access to the water. We had hardly any issues with bugs.

E006: Large site with open view of lake and Mt. Bailey. Somewhat close to neighboring sites but trees give privacy. Sunny 9am-sunset with shady areas. Able to easily launch kayaks from the bank nearby. We had an 8-man tent, 2-man tent, and shade shelter with plenty more room to work with.

Mid-July: wildflowers in full bloom, mosquitos tolerable, warm days, mid-40° temps at night. We had a night with rain but otherwise clear weather. The stargazing is incredible!!

Pizza place sells $7 bundles of wood, pizza place and marina store have bags of ice. Marina also has basic dog food (we ran out). Showers are warm and powerful enough to take some skin off.

Beautiful lake and surroundings; a bit isolated for gas station choices and we were there late hrs and left early. Do not recommend site H023 for back-in campers based on the one-way route, it was too sharp to back in adequately--good for tent site

Nice location, however, the driveway is a steep downhill back-in, so not easy/appropriate for trailers or rv's.

Two of the bathrooms in our area were closed. Replace with portable "potties". the portables were never cleaned while we were there and trash was thrown around outside. The trash was over flowing and the trash trucks ignored the overflow. They dumped the cans and moved on. the bathhouse roof was on the ground. The shingles on the ground. So sad to see such neglect and disrepair. It was not like this in years prior.
