The view was beautiful. I think every tent location had a lake view. And the bike oath around the lake was so much fun. The bad part was the bugs, there were hundreds of thousands. More than I’ve ever seen camping before. And the bathrooms (toilet and showers) were pretty gross too. If you don’t care about bug and descent bathrooms- then it was great! Cute little pizza/ice cream spot by the lake too.

Holy smokes, so many BUGS! We stayed in K14, and the gnats were unreal. We have never experienced bugs like this. That said, we had great weather, and the site itself is really great. We did our laundry and got coffee at the Diamond Lake Resort nearby, which was great. Also, the showers were a plus. Knowing the bug situation, we probably would be more careful in the future about when we stay at Diamond Lake.

Great campsite, right on the lake shore. Feels private. A lot of timber around, if you have a saw or a large axe you won't have problems with firewood. There were a lot of small flies in the evening that went dormant in the night. No mosquitoes though. Wish we stayed longer and could bike around the lake.

Nice, large camping sites. Great price and easy to find 3 spots together for a friends camp out. The lake was beautiful, but very buggy along the shore where the kids wanted to swim.

The setting and campground were great. The maintenance of the bathrooms was awful. Nobody ever cleaned the bathrooms for the week that we were there. One day somebody swept them, but the toilets and sinks were never cleaned. We rarely saw any presence of workers in the campground.

The bugs are thick so be aware, especially as you get closer to the lake. BUT the wildflowers in July were incredible, we had a lovely time.

Close to the water and bathroom. Sites are not next to each other and big enough to spread out multiple tents and camping gears. Waterfront location is very convenient for SUP and kayak.

Lovely site right on the lake with easy access for our kayaks. Unfortunately there were multiple parties camping right next door with loud generators and children screaming late at night and early in the morning and throughout the day, as well as riding bikes next to our site. Cute and fun for them, but not overly relaxing for us (which we realize is hit or miss when camping in an overly-populated area.) The rest of the experience was great.
