Location is great, bit colder this year so be prepared for mosquitoes specially on sites with full shadow like one we had. Other that that it’s our favorite camping - cycling, fishing, hiking, renting motorboat, short trip to crater lake without enormous line on entry you get when going there from south entrance. Amazing waterfalls when going north-west following Umpqua river.

I love Diamond Lake Campground for years, but have seen some maintenance issues.
-drink water at the dump station was not operational.
-one of the 2 toilets in the men's bathroom was not operational in loop C.
-The bathroom and shower building near loop C has taken a lot of abuse from winter ice and snow. This has caused groups of shingles to have slide off into a pile on the ground.
-In the same shower building, all of the shower handles are missing. And 2 of the 6 showers are not working.

Picture of site must have been thirty years old. Way shorter than stated. It is like a maize with roads not marked clearly . Bathroom closed. In short the worse campground in fifty years we have been to.

Our lake front site, M15, was awesome. Lake view of mountains was inspiring. Bugs were not bad lake front. Lake breezes kept insects at bay. Cell service for use was virtually nonexistent at our site.

We enjoyed our stay at Diamond Lake, Oregon. The campsite is clean, and the camp host is very helpful. The campground is showing its age. The plumbing is breaking down in many of the restrooms. The shower building was closed two days after we arrived do to flooding problems. From what we can tell, all of the campground facilities need to be upgraded. I hope that happens. this is a very beautiful campground and lake.
