We loved Diamond Lake. We had a fantastic big campsite for 4 of us. The only negative was the lack of cleanliness of the restrooms. We had to get toilet paper from the camp host for our restroom which was never cleaned while we were there for 4 days.

there was Noone except poor ranger to maintain bathrooms showers again this year. except the poor ranger.
we had to use our own toilet paper. camphor said suspose to be a company but they never showed. and nokne to check us in at booth. so that was different
otherwise we've been going to diamond lake for 22 years love it

This was our second time camping here. We had a lakefront campsite with a gorgeous view of Mount Bailey. The only drawback were the ferocious gnats and mosquitos and not-so-clean bathroom. We spent the evening in our tent rather than outside with the bugs. Definitely bring spray.

Bathroom closure on loop A made it impossible for us to stay. (I have celiac disease and need immediate use of restrooms). We tried to talk to the camp host but he was overwhelmed and said there was nothing he could do.

Our site was really not ideal for tent camping, it was not level. Previous campers left a lot of trash in the fire ring. No one was working the welcome hut which was not a big deal but seemed odd for a holiday weekend. The lake itself is amazing though and we had a really nice relaxing time! Bugs were awful but tis the season. Would also be nice if at the marinas it was specified if there was separate parking for cars vs boat trailers. A guy with a trailer was super rude to us, saying we parked in trailer parking, but nothing was marked

We loved Diamond Lake Campground. Despite a large number of campsites, it remained quiet in our loop during the three nights we stayed there. Never had any contact with the campground hosts, although we didn't expect to. Loved that we were able to get on our bikes and ride around the lake on the 11-mile, paved John Dellenback Trail. That was one of the highlights of our stay and an under publicized amenity. The 4th of July fireworks on the lake were better than most city displays I've witnessed.

Well because they are so short handed they say the park is full but that is not the case. People just reserve and don’t show up. We missed being close to our group because of they selfish people that do not cancel there reservations. Very sad we don’t have great funding for our parks!
