We have started a tradition with the kids and grand kids to camp at Diamond Lake during the fishing derby weekend. I just want to say the campgrounds are great and everyone I have encountered at the campground, lodge, restaurant, bar and store have been so friendly and helpful! I think this is our 4th year of camping here and I have never encountered a bad employee. Also, you can tie your boat up pretty much anywhere you camp so you don't have to go to the marina to pull your boat out. Nice feature!! Beautiful lake and surroundings!!

Overall a nice campground. The camp sites were pretty private and not on top of each other like other campgrounds. Was very buggy while I was there so definitely bring bug spray. Not a far drive from glacier national park. There is a “resort” a few minutes north that has kayak, canoe, and boat rentals which was unexpected and a nice way to spend some time on the lake. The bathroom facilities were ok, could be cleaner, but free hot showers was nice. Camp host was awesome and had a little setup to use their WiFi.

This site IS NOT good for trailers. The site is a drive in straight style on a one way road. There is no place to turn around to back in your trailer. This would be a fine spot for a small RV or van style camper.
The campsite itself is great and semi private. Close to the bathroom and two water outlets. If you don’t mind driving down to the lake this is a great campground.

The trash was overflowing the whole time we were there and the bathrooms ran out of TP. I really like this campground and the pizza at the end of the trail was good. Just was suprised at the status of the trash. Other than that it was a great stay. Be bug prepared for sure

Showed up to get into our reserved campsite and someone was camped in it from the previous day. No help from the camp host. Left a note for the camp host. They never came and spoke with us. Finally found the spot was available at about 10:30 p.m. on the day that we arrived. They put us in another campsite. That was damaged and full of hatching mosquitoes. Everything was great. One problem was that the rest rooms were not cleaned for 2-3 days. The one closest to our campsite was disgusting.

Great location for visiting crater lake and Tokatee falls. Extremely large camping sites which was awesome. We wish there had been a few dedicated areas throughout the park where you could access the lake without going through a campsite of someone who had a lakefront site. The bathrooms were consistently dirty. Gorgeous views of the lake though.

The three closest restrooms closest to our 3 reserved campsites were closed/out of order. We were alerted that one restroom was closed, but 3?! The least they could do would be to bring in porta-potties, after paying top dollar. We had to bicycle 1/2 mile to the boat ramp to do our business. Diamond Lake Campground needs to get it together for their busy camping season. The season they make their money, and want to be inviting to campers the following season.
