Beautiful location, large camping spaces. Bathrooms were disgusting. The sink was clogged for a week as it slowly drained. The floors were filthy and toilet paper was randomly restocked. Horrible.

This is a beautiful park and the host we spoke with was wonderful. I’m giving it a low number of stars because the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. They were not cleaned the entire 7 days we were there and there was no TP. Definitely make sure you take your own. The sites were big and clean and it’s pretty peaceful. Just the bathrooms are NASTY!

Diamond Lake used to be a jewel. However, due to funding and staffing shortages the campground and facility have gone downhill. The bathrooms in our loop were closed. The bathrooms that were open rarely had TP. Forest Service workers were rarely around so there was little if any enforcement of basic rules (extra vehicles on site, multiple groups at one site, parking of roadway, etc.) Very disappointing...

Beautiful, quiet campground. We had spots right on the lake and spent three days swimming and kayaking. This campground surpassed my expectations, however some of the other sites were open and devoid of shrubs/trees so they wouldn’t feel as private.

The view was amazing. Diamond lake is gorgeous. We got a lakefront tent spot (g37). It had tons of space which was nice. The only issue was that there wasn't very much flat ground so we had to sleep on a bit of a slope. It was a perfect spot to swim too. Would go back.

Campground was clean and camp host, John, was very helpful in answering our questions. Diamond Lake is close enough to do a day trip to Crater Lake and back. We ended up saying two extra nights.

Diamond Lake is accessible via OR-138, which connects to US-97 and OR-62 within approximately 25 miles. From Klamath Falls or Bend, OR-138 can be reached via US-97.
