The site (E4) was well spaced from the neighboring sites but had very little shade. It also was a good walk to the bathrooms and the waste water drain.

Beautiful campground but the noise and mosquitos took away from the experience. You will need to bring local fire wood or a hatchet/axe to chop wood. We were in space H1, which we didn't realize was right next to the entrance and very busy with car traffic. The campsites next to us were playing loud music late into the night. I finally got up and out of my tent to ask them to turn it down at 11pm and thankfully they did turn it down, but did not turn it off until after midnight. The camp registration staff were very kind, and the site's restrooms were great.

My campsite loop had no running water. In addition, the toilets were closed and an outhouse was provided.

Diamond Lake Campground is right next to a beautiful lake, some campsites are quite nice, others are so-so. The showers were clean and hot, but the shower heads leave a lot to be desired. Barely a trickle of nice warm water, or an intense blast of much too hot. The site we stayed at was on a slope with a tiny area for a small tent and was extremely dusty with loose dirt rather than a layer of nice pine duff and there was micro trash all over the site. So, I rate this visit as fair.

The site was next to the restroom so it's not the one with the most privacy. Right next to the lake, pretty view, a lot of bugs.
