This was my second time coming to this campground. Both times it has been my favorite stop on our vacation. It’s so dark and peaceful at night. We enjoyed walking throughout the park and along the water. It’s truly beautiful during the day and night (hello, Milky Way!).

Love Diamond Lake Campground, been coming here for over 60 years. Sad to see things like maintenance of the bathrooms and other infrastructure so badly neglected. Ranger station closed and no sign of rangers patrolling and helping people as in past years.

Beautiful campground and location. Plenty of space between campsites, didn’t feel crowded at all. Even though we weren’t right on the lake shore there was a nice path right by our site down to the lake to launch our paddle board from. Nice bathroom. Loved the 11 mile bike path around the lake.

G16 is not a site i would recommend to anyone unless they are booking the neighboring sites. No privacy. The group site is 50 ft away, and the other non powered site has no foliage in between, so you will be only 100 ft away and everyone's activities are visible to each other.

South Shore pizza is good, the jumbo wings are no good at all just big and breaded soggy mess, the resort food is just okay but had great views and hang out spot at the shore. Music on the patio is a bit loud too. I was bitten by a whistle pig while eating lunch so beware of critters and needs that are used to being fed.

Otherwise, do yourself a favor and reserve the lakefront sites way out because they look amazing and everyone knows it so they are usually booked.

I booked site G033 which had an incredible view of the lake and mountain and a good amount of privacy. However, the toilets right next to the site were out of order and the port-a-potties there had clearly not been serviced in a long time. Facilities by the camp host were open and clean. I also found that it was quite difficult to find the G section of the camp as signage was lacking.

G27 is an excellent lake front site with good view. Decent privacy but is open to G29 next door. Parking pad is level enough for our 24' trailer, larger RV may be more difficult to level. Lots of sun but enough trees to provide some shade. Close enough to main access road that you can see and hear cars, but not too bad.

Diamond Lake is a beautiful natural lake. It has many lakefront campsites. We love to bike the 11 mile paved bike path around the lake, and have breakfast at the Lodge before we leave. It’s nice to visit nearby Crater Lake, too. The main downside of Crater Lane is the many mosquitoes mainly in the early part of summer.

Everything was great! definitely coming back. Prepare for bad phone signal. and I recommend using cash. if you go to the market.
Also Ants were everywhere but we managed.
FUN though.

Beautiful location. Love the camp host that has free WiFi set up, thank you! Only complaint is the bathrooms have no soap or hand sanitizer, would love it if they provided that, otherwise awesome!
