Nestled in a 'shady' cool fir and pine tree forest, the campground is popular during the summer for local and regional campers. There are 14 campsites, offering a variety of settings for campers.Nearby, Maxwell Trailhead provides access to the Maxwell Lake and other locations in the Eagle Cap Wilderness.The primary use season is from early June to the end of September.Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
