Kickstands Campground & Venue

We had a great time at Kickstand’s for our company Christmas party! The band was fantastic, the food and drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent all night. Highly recommend for any group gathering or night

Can’t say enough good things about this campground. Went for the music during the rally and it was awesome. Great price for the entire week. Clean bathroom and showers. Plenty of shaded areas. Staff was amazing from the gate to the bar staff. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The best thing was the music. I’m telling you it was incredible the amount of talent that hit that stage. It’s not a rowdy campground so it was really nice to get peace and quiet when the bands stopped playing . Shuttle service to Sturgis was very handy. I highly recommend this place. You would have gotten 5 stars for everything as we had a great time!
....But...we wished the bands at night played more songs people knew. It's awesome you support "up&coming" bands and you had a great variety. We love to dance to all kinds of music, but people want to cut a rug and rock to some familiar stuff, so you should require them to sing at least 1/2 their "sets" with known tunes.
Not your fault had so much rain every night but MUD, MUD, MUD it got bad real fast!
Our group always up for a challenge but ya gotta find a way to gravel in a few more roads in the far RV section: between the septic truck getting stuck and not making the rounds, to bikes wipeing out and tipping over wasn't good.... but have us stories! ;)

Enjoying our stay! The sites are spacious and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to unwind. We were not sure if we were going to be able to attend the rally because we have two dogs that travel with us. Very thankful they allow dogs. Also the bathrooms and showers are very nice. One of the highlights was the on-site bar area—it was affordable, and the food was good. We were especially happy to find breakfast available the next morning after a long night when we didn’t feel like cooking. Definitely would come back here!

This has been our fifth year staying here. We had friends come out and they loved it as well.
We have tent camped, rented a cabin and used an electric only spot. No issues ever and the owners have always made worked with us on any problems or hiccups.

The owners are so kind and remember us every year.
The bartenders were awesome, caught some live music which was great. The showers and bathrooms were nice and clean.
This location is so beautiful and we are always so excited when it’s time to go back. We leave tomorrow and I am already sad. We will miss the views but look forward to seeing this place next year.
