I needed to modify my arrival day from Thursday ti Saturday. The online system wouldn’t allow it. I called the phone number and it gave an option to directly reach Anderson Cove. I left a message on Wednesday and again on Thursday. The voicemail never mentioned that the phone system was down or an alternate number to call. When we arrived Saturday we were told our campsite had been given away and that the phone system had been down for over a year!! Inexcusable that the phones should be down for that long and even more so that the voicemail wasn’t updated with the office number. The manager told me I should have called the office. I would have had a number been listed. Terrible, terrible service. I have called in the past to update my arrival and there was no problem. I was even told that since I had paid for the reservation they couldn’t give away my site. You can do better. People need to be able to reach the campsite directly.

It’s a very nice campground on the shores of the Pineview Reservoir. The sites are level, with a nice picnic table & fire ring. Most sites offer plenty of shade as well. This was the first time in years where I’ve stayed, and the grounds were not as well cared for as in the past. Minus 1 star for all the overgrown grass.

Loved this campsite! Sites are close together but lots of trees in between so it felt more secluded. Bathrooms were clean. Very easy to get from loop A down to beach. The beach is gorgeous! Canp hosts were very friendly and made lots of rounds around to check on things.

Here is a review you can use or adapt:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent family camping spot.

We spent a wonderful few days here. It is an ideal place to enjoy with the family, surrounded by nature, tranquility, and beautiful scenery. The camping areas are clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for children to play and explore safely.

The facilities are in great condition, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. During our stay, we enjoyed hikes, campfires, and unforgettable moments outdoors. Plus, the staff was friendly and always ready to help.

Without a doubt, it is the perfect destination to disconnect from the daily routine, spend quality time with the family, and create special memories. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon! 🏕️🌲🔥😊

We have been coming to Anderson Cove every summer for 24 years. I was impressed this year with the exceptional service at the campground and how clean the bathrooms were. We love playing in the lake, enjoying the views, and having a campfire while watching the stars. Great visit!
