Site was clean and decent. Wish the pay on the phone was easier and explained more as we wanted to pay cash and no way of doing it. Also neighbors were yelling at 4 am not pleasant

Nice campground. Forest service personnel were great. The only complaint was the amount of trash left by whoever used the site before me. Trash in the fire ring and bottles and use paper towels in the grass next to the tent pad.

From Shelton,WA take US Highway 101 for 6 miles north. Then turn west onto the Skokomish Valley Road. Follow Skokomish Valley Road for about 8 miles to the forest boundary. Continue on Forest Road 23 for about another 5 miles to Forest Service Road 2353. Turn right and drive approximately ¾ mile to the South Fork Skokomish River Bridge. Cross the bridge and make a sharp turn to the right onto Forest Service Road 2340. Brown Creek Campground is located ¼ mile beyond this point.
Policies & Rules
General
- Most campsites can only accomodate 1 vehicle, no other parking within campground. Please keep this in mind while planning and book campsites accordingly. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles.
- Bears and other animals frequent the area; use appropriate food storage containers.
- Pets must be on a leash 6' or less in length and under control within the campground and developed recreation sites.
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the Olympic National Forest.
- Chainsaw use and hunting are prohibited in the area's developed recreation sites.
- Secure your items and valuables, even at night! Theft has been reported in area.
- During the off-season potable water is not available.
- Maximum stay is 14 days.
