This was a very quiet and beautiful site. The wildflowers, river, and trees were stunning. All the utilities were in great shape. The bathroom was recently cleaned, and hand-pumped water was available, as was trash.

When I arrived my campsite was occupied by a truck and camper and the reservation marker was blank. No one was at the site. The camp host was away and I could not contact Recreation.gov for assistance. I had to find a different campground. I received a refund 2 weeks later but was not refunded the reservation fee which means I had to pay money for nothing. I’m very upset about this.

The spaces were generous and the host was friendly and helpful. We camped in our motorhome and rode our bikes on the gravel roads. It was close to the high country trails we visited , so worked out well for us.
