2020 Airstream RV Sport 16RB - rental near New Paltz, PA

Our first renters were not via RVShare, so we asked them to send us a note about their experience driving to Texas: "Whether you're an Aistream novice or experienced road warrior, this Aistream Bambi camper is an all-around great choice. Clean, comfy, efficient layout, and cool --- expect lots of friendly waves along the highway and to be the center of attention at gas stations, rest stops and parks with this Airstream. In June 2020, we loaded up our 3-year-old and a baby (7 mo.) and drove from NY to TX in a Toyota Highlander with the Bambi in tow. While I might not recommend driving 8-9 hours a day with young children (for sanity reasons), pulling into each campsite, getting set up, listening to the cicadas, looking up at the stars, and sleeping (yes, sleeping!) in the camper made the meltdowns worth it and an adventure we'll never forget! A highlight was the nighttime lightning-bug show on an Alpaca Farm in Virginia, where it was secluded and peaceful. Towing was easy and safe, the ride was smooth, and we'll do it again soon. We also were able to avoid all public restrooms on the road, and could pop in and out of the camper to grab our lunch from the battery-run fridge. We'd certainly take this Airstream again if we don't go and buy one ourselves. A note about the owners: they are the best to work with - responsive, helpful, lovely people ... we're lucky to call them our friends. :-)"
