Cozy Couple Camper - RV rental near Idaho Falls, WY

RV overview

This trailer is perfect for a couple who wants to camp with the conveniences of a modern RV without towing a monstrosity behind them. The Scamp leaves a very small footprint on the environment you are camping in. RV Set up and delivery is available. We also have a gasoline powered generator available for rent. If your campsite does not allow generators, we suggest you rent our Jackery SOLAR generator instead. Scamp Trailers are designed to be towed by small cars, SUVs, mini vans, and trucks. This lightweight camper is easy to tow with a variety of vehicles. While the trailer's empty weight is only about 1,600 lb, we recommend that your vehicle at least be rated to tow 2,500 lb in order to safely tow this trailer, your camping gear, food and beverages and other items you are taking with you. This extra towing "cushion" will also help you when ascending steep hills and passing. The unique aerodynamic design and ultra light weight assures high fuel efficiency as well! The Scamp has so much packed into it. There is a 74" long x 54” wide bed that is long enough for two tall adults. You will enjoy an inside shower and toilet (also there is a separate outside shower), on demand hot water heater (propane), roof fan, roof air conditioner with soft start and heat strip, 20,000 BTU furnace (propane), dual 20# propane tanks, 2.0 cubic foot fridge (AC/DC electric), two burner propane stove, sink, potable water tank, grey water tank, and black water tank. There are multiple A/C outlets and USB outlets. There is an entry step, screen door, window blinds, outside and inside LED lighting, battery voltage indicator, and more! A 2023 Scamp trailer uses a standard 7-way round (7-pin) electrical connector to connect to the tow vehicle. This 7-way plug manages the brake lights, turn signals, marker lights, electric brakes, and provides DC battery charging from the tow vehicle. We have an adaptor that converts this 7- way plug to a 4 - way flat connection, if that is needed. The hitch height of the trailer (measured from the ground to the top of the hitch ball) is approximately 18 inches. Upon request, we will gladly send you a video link so that you can take a virtual tour of the scamp. We also will send you a "how to" video after you book a reservation that will guide you through how to use all the features on the scamp.
