What Guests Are Saying
Wilson's Beach Campground is a well-maintained site with clean bathrooms, convenient coin showers, and spacious camping spots surrounded by mature trees, offering good privacy. Although the beach is not ideal for swimming, it's great for paddleboarding and kayaking. The campground hosts enjoyable events like Ding Dong Day, making it a family-friendly destination, though some guests mentioned noise from generators as a drawback. Overall, it's a hidden gem worth visiting again.

Wife and I have had a seasonal campsite for 3 years now, and rented out weekend sites for years before that.
We love the family friendly atmosphere. Dogs are allowed and our fur child loves going to the lake every weekend.
Gary and Corrine are completely reasonable and fair with the rules. Some may not like them, and I don’t agree with them all but we adhere to them and have no issues.
Love that each campsite is its own. Lots of trees in between and within the rules owners are allowed to set up as they please.
Some people mentioned them making more spots seasonal ones. That’s not the case. There could be more people booking out sites for an entire season, however if they is being done they are required to pull their trailer out at least 2 times a season as it’s not considered a seasonal spot.
If you want to use the boat launch for the day it does cost money. Helps keep traffic limited for actual campers and seasonal users. Something I’m totally okay with.
Complaints about outhouses? Yes sometimes they smell, it’s an outhouse for goodness sakes!
Easily one of the best, most beautiful campsites I’ve ever seen.

Was an okay campground. Entrance and exit gate is sketchy with longer trailer. Lol.
We probably had the worst site there but made the best of it.
Most places are year round. They look to have nice lots. We had a good time

This place is a hidden gem. The lots are well spaced , not too close to your neighbors, and has mature trees. It's the cleanest campground I've ever been to. It's our 2nd stay and we will be back again next year.
Sheldon and Melissa are quick to answer emails and are truly the friendliest people.
We just came back from their annual Ding Dong Day. My 5 year old had the best time getting her face painted and enjoyed the bouncy slide, and a movie in the park at sunset was the best part.
This place is a must-see. Just book now. You won't regret it.
*Dog Friendly (except on the beach).
*Clean bathrooms and you have a hot shower that is 2 loonies for 6 minutes.
* Large stack of quality firewood delivered to your site for $20.
*Playground is small. But the kids still loved it.

Good privacy, decent beach but no trails or anywhere to walk really.
Sadly, I avoid campgrounds as a general rule now as I would rather sit in my backyard listening to the neighbors mow the lawn than pay to hear non stop generators running around me. Arrived Friday to the sound of gennys, went to sleep to the sound of gennys, woke up to the sound of gennys, ate lunch to the sound of gennys. This was my reminder why campgrounds have been ruined, no chance to relax even for a few hours.
Called the office during no generators allowed hours to inquire but their message begged me not to leave a voicemail lol
If you own a generator and are the type to run it all day everyday, consider investing in an extra battery or two instead eh?
