Cluxewe Resort

Didnt stay here but stopped for a walk along the ocean. Staff was super friendly and was really cool. Was told to go ask at the main office where you can park and they will be good with you visiting the area. Super clean area camp sights looked clean and well kept. Beautiful ocean views. When I come back for my next island trip I will totally be staying out there for a few days.

We camped at one of the oceanview sites for three nights and saw so many whales and other wildlife. It’s a beautiful spot. It is nice to have conveniences available like firewood and ice and showers. The bathrooms were maintained, although the locking bathroom is fairly annoying. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. it is quite foggy at times and the lighthouse across the way has a fog horn so earplugs are probably helpful if you’re a light sleeper.

Beautiful place to stay right on the ocean with limited services or in the woodland area with full service. Wifi is spotty, but you can always walk over to the office or playground to connect to the campground Wifi.

A gorgeous and very peaceful campsite beside the ocean on Northern end of Vancouver island.
Full hookups on so so level sites,- also cabins available at this resort. There is a gravel/logging road off the highway into the resort, maybe 1km at most, but no problems at all. The resort is very central for Port Hardy and Port McNeill.

We camped at Cluxewe in a truck camper right on the ocean. We could hear it rumble and roar even slightly in our camper with the windows closed. Best sound machine ever! The location is spectacular! The staff at the office are friendly. If you love the ocean it is the place to be!
