Laketown Ranch is an entire vibe. There's nothing else like it around. For its size its one of the more affordable wedding venues around and can accommodate hundreds of guests if you wish. It has all the amenities for a laid back wedding celebration and lots of rain cover options so that couples are prepared for diverse weather. These weddings are always so much fun to capture. Here are some photo highlights from some September wedding photography clients. I look forward to returning!

Laketown Ranch is located in the Cowichan Valley, with big, vast, open fields surrounded by trees and Mountains.🦅It’s an awesome place to go see a live event. I’ve been to an electronic music festival and country festival there, completely different vibes but the land itself is quite peaceful and grounding. I love volunteering, so that most often what I do when I go to festivals, I love helping out, and being part of a crew aswell as having fun and enjoying festival. My Only recommendations would be to make sure you bring sun protection, or if you are in a tent, get atleast an 8x8 market tent aswell, because when the sun beats down it gets really hot, and most all camping spots are in direct sunlight, as are most the grounds. It sucks to just hang out in a sweaty little tent. 🥵😩The market tent provides air flow, and you can stand up and move around, and just have the regular tent for sleeping. That’s what I do, and it works well for me. 😁

Camping at foam festival for the first time. Asked laketown ranch staff where the washroom was. Was told of only the location of one. That one is locked at night. Found that out the hard way. So did the other campers who have not been to this location. It’s definitely runned by a man’s point of view. Cause those washrooms are label urinals. As for the outhouses which some the campers didn’t know of. Because when you look at them from the campsite. It’s labeled garbage and recycling. There is no signage directing you to where the washrooms are. Complained to a staff member at Laketown. He didn’t care. Bad attitude. As well to a couple of festival staff. The men didn’t care but the females did. Would like to find out what the ratio is for number of campers to washrooms that must be provided according to the laws. I would not be surprised if they are violating this.
Greg Adams. I’m a huge Canuck fan. Do better. This is quite shameful.

Went here for Foam Fest and it was a well run production and it was nice not having any problems with parking. The hot showers were a plus. I wish the food food and drinks could have stayed open longer as several hundred people were still finishing when they closed down.

Bring your own food and drinks to save money. Go earliar to claim good spots and bring your own chairs. Lots of free samples of drinks. 2 stages going at the same time so keep an eye on the schedule to know where you wanna be. Bathroom lines are pretty big
