Green Valley RV & Cabins

After returning for our second season, I can confidently say Green Valley RV and Cabins is a true hidden gem located less than an hour from the city. This exceptional property is consistently well-kept and clean, with Andrew and his family creating a wonderful welcoming atmosphere that makes us feel right at home. The natural beauty of the park is enhanced by beautiful walking paths that circle around a nice lake with an exceptional view, while recreational amenities like a pickleball court and kids playground ensure there's something for everyone. For the perfect point of view, a hilltop gazebo overlooks the entire park, providing the perfect spot to take in the surroundings. Beyond these excellent facilities, there's plenty to do in and around Grunthal, making it the perfect destination for both relaxation and activities. Without hesitation, we give Green Valley RV and Cabins 5 stars plus and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway with outstanding hospitality.

Green Valley is a safe, tranquil destination where I can feel peace of mind and decompress from the stresses of life. It is my happy place.

The culture of any organization trickles down from the top, and I witness the evidence of caring management around the GreenValley campground. Although it is a property under development with 1000 demands on his shoulders, Andrew is super quick to respond whenever I reach out with a question or to ask for help around my site.

His dreams and ambition for continued development of the property are inspiring as his plans come to life. He cultivates a strong neighbourhood through discernment of new additions to the community who become our neighbours and friends. As a result, there is grace and respect and ‘shared ownership’ between campers and with management.

I am thrilled to enjoy this hidden slice of paradise, and take a personal ‘teamwork’ interest in supporting the amazing, mature community we share together at GreenValley.

This was the 3rd time we camped there in our trailer. Sites are clean and lots of room. Andrew the owner is great. Always around and stops in time to time to make sure everything is ok and chats for awhile. Park has a pickle ball court where Andrew taught us how to play. Was able to meet his parents, super down to earth people. Great place to stay. See you soon Green Valley!

When we arrived we were greeted by the owner. We were shown our site which was spacious. Looking around the campground was a delight. There are seasonal campers and with good reason. This ‘valley’ is like an oasis of beauty. There is the gazebo on the hill overlooking the lake. There is the large areas of grass all around the lake/pond. There is a dock and a small beach from which to swim. Across the road is a larger beach to swim and paddle on. Unfortunately we had only booked a couple of days. We won’t make that same mistake again. Come and spend a week or two and soak in the restful area. There is a playground for kids and a pickle ball court for adults. Bring your paddle boards and what have you. I’m not sure power boats would be useful. I don’t normally go on about a place and its benefits. You will enjoy yourself and have a quiet time here.

It’s our first time to camp in the area and all praise to the place. I would say a hidden GEM, just 45 mins drive from the city. Place is clean, calm, and very peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay (the place is all ours that time - beach and kayaking) and looking forward to be back. Thank you Green Valley for a memorable experience.
