What a beautiful location ! Super friendly hosts, ice cream to purchase as you check in, and we were escorted to our site !
Stunning views of the sunset and super flat sites. Easy hook ups too. Very well-maintained camp, and with a great beach to enjoy as well !

Such a great place to stay! The sites and bathrooms are extremely clean and well kept. We were greeted with such nice people upon our arrival. Overall a great place to relax and catch the sunset!

Waves end staff was so welcoming, and friendly. The pads were nice and level, the washrooms were clean and the customer service unmatched. Jason was a great host and eager to make us feel at home. This was the first campground we have been to that showed us right to our site and brought firewood right to our site. We will be back again.

This campground is amazing. Washroom is clean, the whole area was clean. Lovely front desk and Jason welcomes his guests which I think is a great thing. Loved the view and the beach. I just wish there's more washroom close to other sites. I recommend this campground to everyone.

We recently stayed at Waves End for 6 nights. We chose this campground because of its proximity to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Be prepared for the possibility of some very windy days (Les Suetes) at this campground. No awnings out if you have a trailer. Our trailer was knocked off the leveling blocks early one morning from the high winds. No damage done but it was a bit scary to be inside when it happened. Just mentioning this (it has nothing to do with the campground) as a way to describe the winds.
Washrooms were very clean and well maintained. Laundry was available as well. Honour system, you pay at the office once you’re done.
Dump station is available as well (no sewer at site) and they sell ice cream in the store, as well as propane refills and firewood.
Would highly recommend Waves End as a base for your Cape Breton exploration. We enjoyed the neighbouring town of Cheticamp as well, it has most of the amenities you would need.
