Gateway Campground

Great river side sites. Seasonal serviced lots. Day, weekly and seasonal mix. Great crowd.

We had booked for one night and upon our arrival the owner came out to take us to our spot. He personally escorts you while driving his golf cart.
He told us he had a better spot for us since it was only for one night. Oh my, the view I had was just amazing. Looking out over the river, so peaceful. A large deck and picnic table to enjoy as well. Apparently this is a special spot snd when booking you must request by name" Gary's Hideaway " I believe is what it's called. This place is definitely a hidden gem and very surprising. Grounds were clean, well kept, spacious sites, view of the Medway River fantastic. Would definitely go here again. Easy access off the trails as well when travel is once again permitted. Tent sites are right on the river.

Been there twice and will go back again next Season.

Gateway Campground is a delightful escape, perfectly managed by a kind, elderly couple who make you feel like home. Their warm, helpful service and pristine site create a memorable stay. Dog lovers will adore their energetic, friendly dogs, Simon and Sisso.

We loved our time here and highly recommend this charming getaway!

Beautiful spot for a newly opened campground. If you are looking for a walk in tenting by the river, drive in tenting by the river or boon docking in an RV this is the spot to be. Hard working owner trying to turn his beautiful land into a campground to be enjoyed by camping enthusiasts. Super friendly owner and fellow campers. Will return many more times and will enjoy seeing what Georgie builds!
