Yesterday I visited this campsite with the intention of testing it out before considering a seasonal unit for myself and my friends. Unfortunately, my experience was very unpleasant and left me feeling upset and unwelcome.

Shortly just after entering the site, I was driving slowly—about 10 mph—when I was suddenly stopped by a staff member (a large man in a golf cart) who came running toward my car, waving his arms and yelling. He angrily demanded that I roll down my window and then began shouting at me that the speed limit is 9 km/h and that children play in the area. While I absolutely agree that safety and following speed limits are important, the way this message was delivered was completely inappropriate.

Instead of calmly and professionally explaining the rules, he chose to yell, threaten that I would be removed if it “ever happened again,” and continued following me in his golf cart until I nearly reached my site. This behavior was intimidating and unnecessary.

Because of this encounter, I ended up leaving the campsite during the day and only returned at night to sleep. I had been excited to explore the area and potentially recommend it to friends and family, but after this experience I would not return or recommend this site to anyone.

Safety rules matter—but so does treating visitors with respect. This could have been handled in a far more professional and welcoming manner.

This is an amazing campground for all ages—kids, families, or even if you’re just coming by yourself. The park has a saltwater pool, a rec room that’s open 24/7, and everything is kept in great condition. The bathrooms are spotless, the grounds are very well maintained, and the overall vibe is welcoming and relaxing. On top of that, the owners are phenomenal—super friendly and it really shows that they care about the place and the people staying here. Honestly, one of the best spots around.

We enjoyed our stay at bloom resorts blue mountain. We stayed at the Cabin area and rented 2 of them. There were a few activities available that we did at the place. The water in the shower was cold but as it is summer it is pretty refreshing but to wash the grill hot water would be great. We did not see much of the people working there but my family enjoyed the pool and bon fire. The room is great for family of 4 with the pull out sofa.
