What Guests Are Saying
McClintic Point offers a spacious campsite with clean bathrooms and nearby swimming options, making it a great spot for groups. However, maintenance issues are noted, such as tall grass and litter around water access, which detracts from the experience. For the price, regular upkeep is necessary to enhance the overall stay.

Completely unmaintenced. We paid $80 or so dollars a night and the grass was well up past our ankles. At all sites actually. No way someone could camp at site A. The path to the water was overgrown and there were clothes and trash all over the ground at our water access. For the price, it needs to be maintenanced regularly. Also stayed back in April and same issue.

My group and I had a wonderful time at the campsite. There was a lot of space and places to put our cars. The bathrooms were very clean as well. There were only 2 things that I wish had been better. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom (thankfully, we all brought our own), and the campsite had not been mowed in a while. The grass was quite tall. There are several places to go swimming nearby that you can walk to, and other places to drive to. Also, if you are in need of a snack or Wi-Fi, there is a little shop less than 5 minutes up the road. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be returning!

Plenty of space to spread out camping and a place to launch kayaks. Saw a mother bear with 3 cubs on the shore! Fabulous spot.
