SOWAL Palms RV Park

Wow, just read a recent review that doesn’t reflect our experience at all — from someone staying here at the same time we did. Did they make a mistake and review the wrong RV Park???

We booked nine nights here and loved every minute of it! Daisy, the onsite manager, and her husband Mike are such sweet, kind people. They made our stay here wonderful. Both are friendly and accommodating and wanted our time here to be comfortable and memorable and they went out of their way to make it happen.

We love how clean the park is, how safe it felt staying here, how nice and quiet and relaxing it is too. We stayed in a beautiful, shady spot. They are spacious and very well-maintained.

The location is perfect too! Santa Rosa Beach is a two mile drive. Walmart is a ten minute drive. Publix is right up the street. Any shopping, beaches or restaurants are all conveniently located.

We couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you so much for making our stay feel like home.

This is a really nice RV park that is kept meticulously clean. Very friendly long term guests too. The have a communal gas fire pit, grill, griddle, and the best Christmas light display around. Dogs are allowed off leash all the time throughout the park so it isn’t ideal for children but there is a small playground. The beach is 2mi away and nothing is walking distance.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (11/15-12/13/25) and loved it! Our spot was next to the bath house which was super convenient. The bath house was always clean and perfectly heated. I hear they are about to remodel it but it was fine for us.
The camp hosts, Mike and Daisy were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating to any of our requests. The sites are level with a gravel pad and grass. The dog area is not fenced but a really nice grassy area with poop bags. The proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants is fantastic. They held a Christmas community event one night which was a fun time. Highly recommend SoWal Palms!

We enjoyed our stay at SoWal Palms the last week of 2025. The staff we met were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is a quiet park conveniently located off Highway 98 (minimal road noise) near a grocery store, shopping, restaurants and the beach. The park is small and all RV sites are gravel. Our RV site was level and included a picnic table. Some of the RV sites did have debris covering the gravel (leaves, pine straw), but the host said there were several long-term guests (mostly construction workers, which might explain why some of the sites had more debris); however, there was none of the unsightly clutter you typically see around RVs in parks where there are long-term or permanent guest. The amenities were basic and included a bath house, Pickleball courts, grilling area and community fire pit (no fires allowed at individual sites which was disappointing). There was large white house on site which appeared to be a private residence based on all the Christmas decorations on and around the house and because I couldn’t find it as a rental on the website. There is a small playground right beside the white house which appeared to belong more to the house rather than the park (there may have been another playground area we didn’t see). If you are looking for quiet, safe, reasonably priced place to stay while you enjoy other activities during the day in the 30A area, SoWal Palms would be a good choice.

We stayed at Sowal for over a month and it was everything we could ask for and more. DAISY & MIKE were the best camp hosts we’ve came across on our journeys. Thank you so much for all you do. And see ya next year!
