Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Savannah Oaks

Stayed 2 nights on way back to North Carolina and so we could see Savannah. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They sent a text during the visit asking us if we need anything and we could just text them back. The facilities are very updated and well maintained. Our site was in the back by the river, had a new picnic table and gravel. There is a Wifi was great to have. It is January so pool not open but looks very nice with a nice seating area with nicely painted picnic tables. There's a dog park and even a dog washing station. Great amenities. Someone in another review said the pictures don't represent the campground but they definitely do, it's as nice as shown in the photos. They seem to really care about the quality of the campground and seems like they are constantly making improvements. Would definitely recommend. If road noise bothers you I would get a site more to the back of the campground.

We stayed here for two nights, using spacious skies as our home base to see Savannah. If we would’ve just been here for a night, it would’ve been fine. However, I don’t recommend it for a longer stay. While the amenities were clean, the sites themselves were pretty rough. We were on top of one another. I did ask to move sites in hopes of continuing on the “camping feel” of our road trip, but they were booked out. For reference, we stayed at site 54. It seemed like everyone around us lived there. Staff were extremely friendly. I’m sure in the summer, the pool is a huge perk!

We really enjoyed our stay at Spacious Skies Savannah. The pull through sites were nice. Ours was close to the bathhouses, laundry/gameroom which was nice. It was a very quiet park with nice amenities. The store had snacks, firewood and you can even have them fill your propane. We also had a gravel area with a fire pit and a picnic table. Our table needed to be updated as it was very moldy but it looks like they are working on that because we saw some new ones at some of the sites. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. Hosts Scott & Melissa went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Our site was newly renovated. The new set-up was so thoughtful with a paver patio, fire pit two level grill in the convenient pull-thru site for our large rig. The bathhouse was always clean as was the laundry room. The campground was close to all that Savannah has to offer.

We had a great stay at this campground. The site was level, clean, and easy to pull through, which made setup quick and stress-free. The facilities were well maintained, and the area was quiet and peaceful—perfect for relaxing. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

A big bonus was that the Old Town Trolley picked us up right at the campground at 9:30 am and dropped us off at 5:00 pm for free. We even received a $5.00 off coupon for tours, which was a nice surprise. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. Overall, a delightful experience—we’d definitely stay here again!
