It was terrific to see the reservation cards with our names on them. The bathroom car fresheners were clever and practical!

Sad to not have potable water; happy to see reserved spots; tickled to have car fresheners hanging in the bathrooms!

The campground was fine, met our needs, and was on a lovely river. Toilets were clean. The trails had signs that said beware of poison oak so we didn’t take our dogs and the river was running really high and fast. So basically we just spent a night and left and didn’t get to enjoy much there.

No host. No service for ~4 miles. Rude ranger. No water. Nice shade. Free firewood.

The ground was pretty hard, but the campground itself was beyond lovely! Such a beautiful area right near the river. The interpretive trail was a highlight!
