What Guests Are Saying
Hardridge Creek offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with friendly staff and well-maintained sites, especially near the water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and natural setting, with highlights including great views and opportunities for kayaking and fishing. However, some reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, particularly regarding bathrooms, laundry facilities, and overgrown vegetation, as well as issues with ants. Overall, it remains a favorite for many, though improvements are needed.

Pros: Half price for senior pass holders. Restrooms & showers were clean. Washer & dryer on site - quarter operated. Some sites had lake views.
Cons: cell service was sporadic (AT&T). Trails were closed for tree trimming so couldn’t do any walks/hikes.
The spots were VERY close together. No place to upload pics that I can see or I’d show how close this was.

The campground was very clean, and had a lot of space between the sites. Beautiful area with view of the lake. The campground host was very nice. I will definitely come back to this beautiful area.

We were set up in the campground and only there a few hours and got a family emergency call so had to leave to go home. They were very understanding at Rec.gov and gave us a full refund. Very nice. Now we’re heading back for another visit.
