White Oak Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among campers. Many enjoy the spacious, well-maintained sites, particularly those by the water, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere despite some noise from motorized boats. While there are occasional concerns about restroom cleanliness and the need for better maintenance, most visitors express a desire to return.

Been camping at Whiteoak for years. Beautiful and well maintained campground. Bathrooms and showers are older, but well maintained and clean.

The site was spacious, extremely level and had a beautiful view of the lake. The area is open enough that there isn't much privacy and this particular site has a lot of foot traffic by the lake, as people park their watercraft right below it, and then walk to there sites via the shoreline. Also the lake is busy with many motorized boats which tended to make things a bit noisy until after dark.

Very nice place, but be sure when you visit that you are in physical possession of your Lifetime Senior Pass card if you have one. I booked online using the number off the card, but when I checked in they wanted to see my card physically. I did not have it with me so they charged me again. I ended up paying twice what I should have. This was the first time I have ever been asked to show the card. I have used my pass many places without having to have it in my possession to physically show it to the person checking me in.
