Very well kept and beautiful campground and only 10 mi from Camden, Alabama, which is a very
beautiful little town with many amenities. Our Camp Host was very nice and supportive. One of my favorite COE facilities.

Camp host Charles was the nicest, most helpful hosts I’ve experienced. Upon getting my rig on the site, the 30 amp breaker was loose. Charles let me borrow his personally owned 50 to 30 adapter until maintenance arrived to fix it. I appreciate him very much.

Millers Ferry was great. I had an accessible pull-thru, concrete pad. The sites were shaded. Just watch for ants.

The host and other staff were excellent and friendly and very pleasant. The campground was great vist and time ,with the exception of some of the facilities needed maintenance and updating but otherwise a pleasant experience

I don’t like to start with an unpleasantry, but you must know the ants are a real issue. We woke up the first morning to find we had been invaded. The floors, the walls, every room in the RV was crawling with ants. So upon your arrival, treat every point where your RV contacts the ground with some sort of pesticide or ground cinnamon (ants hate cinnamon). This is a must do!
This is a nice campground. The sites are well spaced, for the most part. The ones that are a bit close together would make for great family or buddy camping. The majority of sites are angled nicely to make for easy backing and nice views. Just about every back-in site had the pedestal toward the very back of the site, so plan accordingly. We were in site 14 which was a pull-through. The water views were perfect and the site had its own little dock, as did a few others. There are “courtesy docks” spaced around the park for public access to the water.
The campground was practically empty while we were there. I’m still scratching my head trying to figure that out. It’s a lovely place, a great place to unwind. There is a public boat ramp in the middle of the campground. Boating and fishing are popular activities here. Aside from the ant invasion, we enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely go back.
