We love this campground but this is the only campground we battle ants and I am not sure why. They get in your vehicle and probably would have gotten in our camper had we not gone through a half a gallon of spray.

Site not cleaned ahead of arrival. Fire pit not cleaned out. One of the host site looks like a landfill! A lot more could be done to make the site look better upon arrival. 15 minutes of work should have a presentable site.

Don’t stay in any of the tree areas. Our RV was infested with sugar ants. They are everywhere in this place as well as a crazy amount of Orb Weaver spiders. You’ve been warned.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Camp was clean and well maintained. The Park Attendant was extremely helpful.

We have been to Miller ferry campground, a couple of times. Both times we had problems with ants. We had to spray several times around the camper and our truck to keep the ants from getting inside, but they still did. We talked with other campers that were there at the same time and they were having problems with ants also. The park needs to spray the area for ants to help get rid of them.
