Corinth Recreation Area is a well-maintained and beautiful campground, offering large, private sites in a serene setting. We love staying at Corinth Recreation area. Our favorite loop is the Yellow Hammer. They have great areas to walk through, a beautiful lake with 2 boat landings. The restrooms and showers are very clean and the area is well kept. The staff and camp hosts are a pleasure to deal with and so very helpful.

We have stayed at Corinth several times. We really enjoy the size of the sites, the quite surroundings, and best of all is the staff. The hosts in Firefly loop are the same that were there last year and they are extremely helpful and the entire park is very clean with no trash in sight and clean restrooms.

VerifiedMay 13, 2023 • Stayed at: 58, Loop: Tent Sites
A clean quiet safe and pleasant place to tent camp. Tent sites are not too close together and bath houses are clean and within nice walking distance. The campground is gate code accessible giving a feeling of security. My 4th visit and each time the camp hosts have been friendly and very helpful. I’ll be back for many more trips!

Cornith is well maintained. Full hook up sites, so we did not use the bathrooms.
The fishing was good. We also finished with a charter captain, Keith, of Smith Lake Fishing adventures. He taught us how to catch stripers on our own.

Didn’t like the fact that the single large bathrooms on
Firefly loop were taken away for janitor supplies.

Firefly loop bathrooms had warm water but no supplemental heating making showers cold. Sad that single stall separate bathrooms on rear of loop bathroom bldg (marked "janitors closets" were in service only as firewood storage closets and not functional bathrooms.
