Wonderful campground. Large sites with great staff. The bathhouses are still locked down in the Firefly Loop and only one open in Yellowhammer Loop...so if that is a must for you call ahead to see if they are opened up yet or when they will be.

Water valve constantly leaked even after being reported. Nice clean campground and friendly employees and hosts. At night deer traveling in herds across the park. Would be nice to have a store option as well.

campground overall. Not all sites are completely level. Place has a history worth seeing and learning. Not many eating establishments nearby. Would go again.

The way the cost is divided. All other places give half price with senior card. This is the most expensive place now. I can camp other places for $11-14 per night.

We have always loved Corinth in fact, it’s one of our favorite campgrounds, but this time was different. We had reserved two campsites because my sister and her two daughters planned to come up and camp with us. We have an RV and a pick up. We knew there was a two vehicle limit so that’s why we got the extra campsite. The girls came in two cars and my sister had a car. Later on my son surprised us by coming up and parked by the girls (they didn’t have an RV or anything). The host told my son he needed to move his car and asked the girls why they didn’t have a tent up. They said they were going to sleep in their SUV’s. She told them they couldn’t do that and called the office where she was informed that it would be fine. But she told me soon to move his car to overflow and pay $10, so we called to get the campsite up the street for my son. As we were taking the office said they just got word from our host the campsite was reserved, so my son said he was just going to leave. He had paid the $10 for overflow and when he asked for a refund, the host called the office again and asked what to do about refunding his debit card. The woman at the office asked (on speaker)” Is this the group with all the cars? Just get them out of there! Get them out of there!”SERIOUSLY. We are a very nice, quiet camping family and were so proud to have our grown kids (28, 29 and 30) camping with us! 5 vehicles- one extra-and we were the group with all those vehicles who they wanted to get out of there. 😢

One of our favorite campgrounds! Spacious, shaded sites, full hookups, clean bathhouse and grounds, lots to do at the campground and nearby in the Bankhead/Sipsey areas.
