Luxury RV Resort

Location, Location, Location! Didn't have some "resort style" amenities that some would consider as a "resort," but we were not there for that. It was an 8-10 minute walk to the beach and only a few minutes to so many dining and shopping joints! A nature trail connecting to the amazing state park trail system! The site was clean, level and so easy to access with our 28' Class C. Bathroom was clean and fresh. It's one of the best "beach town" RV resort we have been to!

We stayed for a week over Memorial Day weekend. Pros: Daily trash pick up at our sites, location to the beach and restaurants, and the campground area was very quiet and clean Cons: Pool was closed for 3 or 4 of the 6 days we were there. The office staff wasn’t friendly when I went in to ask for quarters - maybe a change machine in the laundry room would help alleviate the unnecessary traffic in the office. All in all, for our first experience camping at the beach, we learned we want a site with grass in the future! We walked to the beach, but with smaller kids it did become difficult when they got tired so I would recommend a wagon or stroller. Lots to eat, shop and drink within walking distance.

Beautiful park and a great location. Friendly staff too. We stayed on a holiday weekend so a lot of families were there. Just be aware, there are a lot of young kids and adults speeding on scooters everywhere. We saw two young girls collide into each other, luckily they were OK. Maybe it was just a holiday thing but I would imagine all summer as families vacation, the scooter’s go with them.

Recently stayed here. Location was great for us. Staff friendly. An area to note, the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the laundry machines are in desperate need of attention. In asking other rv'ers around if this is the normal standard they said not usually however they also agreed that it seems the bathrooms and laundry are not getting regularly cleaned and at this point need a deep cleaning. The bathrooms and the laundry machines get used often and it is sad that people don't clean up after themselves but they don't so these areas will need to be cared for regularly by owner/staff. I felt it was important to mention this because Luxury RV is not the cheapest place to stay in Gulf Shores so the amenities are part of what justifies the cost. If the amenities are not cared for then might as well go elsewhere to get what you pay for. The worst of the bathrooms/laundry was near the circle turnaround. The clubhouse we did not use.

We stayed here for 3 nights during the Mardi Gras break. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful at check in.
Our site was spacious and clean, and the neighbors were very nice as well. The park has approximately 70+ sites with a picnic table and good parking. The pool is nice, there are walking trails that go to the State Park. Coffee, ice cream shops, and many restaurants are in walking distance. Wal-Mart and Rouse's are just a few blocks away. The Hangout is just a few blocks away as well as public beach access. We will definitely visit here again!
