We absolutely love clear creek park, it is our go to campground. I have been camping here for over 12 yrs and have always loved the privacy of each spot (not just being on top of each other) each spot has wonderful shade and plenty of room. Our only wish would be that they would open the other bath houses :) Book your trip I promise you will love it and enjoy the relaxation it brings.

I do believe if all the bathrooms and showers are closed except for on one loop in the entire park there should be a pop up warning to let you know during the booking process or something. Thank goodness we were only one loop down. Hate to think of some people staying further away and not being able to hike up to the bathrooms and shower very well without some warning beforehand. Besides that I will say we were throughly and pleasantly surprised in the trails and such beautiful scenery and waterfalls. We came across multiple waterfalls and some you hike behind. It was gorgeous. Besides the bathroom/shower situation we had a great time.

As usual, we had a great time. I really wish ALL of the bath houses could be open.

I was wondering why only one bathhouse was open for the whole park.
With four different camping areas plus primitive camping I think it was ridiculous due to they have no full hookups.

The Campground reservation system used a bait and switch style to make a reservation with a Senior park pass. Normally we get a 1/2 off discount for a campsite using our pass. Not a this Campground. At Clear Creak Campground they split the cost of camping into three different parts so that they don't give us the 1/2 off discount. $16 for campsite $8 for electric $6 for water. The discount only applies to the Campsite. We have camped at lots of COE campgrounds and this is the first time we don't get 1/2 off discount. You would think with the extra money that they would update the Campground.
The driveway at the campsites are very uneven and difficult to level your RV. No parking or bike racks at the trail heads. Most of the Raven trail had no markers or trail markers were unreadable or broken. When we were there much of the park was flooded. So sad because this could be a nice place to camp.
