Very clean bathrooms with hot showers. The campsite had a much smaller footprint than anticipated. Our Coleman sundome barely fit on the tent pad. And also surprised by ticks in the campsite. Some even made it home on our gear. Disappointed by incessantly barking dogs from another camper.

Absolutely loved it and very much worth it. We had spot number 5. It was perfect. First time bringing our pop up camper. Easy electric and water. The water pressure in the bathhouse sink was pretty much unusable but otherwise. No worries. Will definitely be coming back. Perfect view. Just secluded enough. Loved it

First time camping in our Fifth Wheel Camper and also our first time camping at Clear Creek. We were very pleased with our campsite next to the water with a beautiful view. We were also close to the bathhouse, which was clean. Clear Creek is a 30 minute drive from our house, which makes for an easey, quick weekend getaway close to home.
My only complaint is: I wish the campsites were equipped with sewer hookup so we would not have to use the bathhouse, because there are only two toilets and one shower to share with lots of other campers. Maybe some more campsites with sewer hookups will be in the future of Clear Creek.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and we will be back soon.

Office staff were not the most friendly or helpful. When the gate to enter the campground wasn’t working the answer we were given was “Well I don’t know what you want me to do about it”. This is one of the most expensive campgrounds in Alabama yet there is no playground, no laundry facility, and it’s not full hook up. We were there during a time of full capacity so some noise is to be expected but we had quite a few issues with teenage campers being very disruptive after quiet hours. If you enjoy being close to the lake many sites have a great view and some give you lake access. The bike trail is newly paved and a great ride. Sites are fairly nice as well, but the bath houses haven’t been updated since they were built. Even though this is the closest campground to our home we most likely won’t return for a while!
