This was our first time at Clear Creek and it was spectacular. The property was very well kept and clean. The staff was very friendly. We loved swimming at the beach area and walking throughout the campground. Our waterfront site was well appointed. Overall the stay was very peaceful and we will definitely be back. If you are looking for a great breakfast, head over to Arley Coffee Shop, it is fantastic!

Campground was basically empty the whole weekend. Our loop (Fawn) only had the campground hosts. Initially the pump was not working, causing bathrooms to be closed, but I think the issue was fixed. I did walk the bike trail Sunday morning from the campground to the beach and was disappointed that the bathrooms at the beach were locked at 8 am. If you intend to try and get satellite, pretty difficult due to the trees. I think that there are too many double sites for such an empty campground. Plus the no swimming at campsite rule needs to be explained why, is it dangerous or what has prompted the no swimming..

We love going here but I believe it is about time to update the place. Starting putting sewer in loops, put in frost free faucets so it can stay open in winter, bathhouses definitely need to be redone, roads need to be repaved. It is a great place and they make plenty of money during the summer to fix these issues. At least start on one loop at a time

The first two nights were good, but it went downhill fast Friday. More people started showing up with dogs that they allowed to urinate and deficate wherever they wanted without cleaning up. Some were even letting the dogs run around at night unattended. The barking was annoying, but it got worse later. Several of them came into our site overnight and urinated on just about everything there including my car, tent, the picnic table, and we even caught one trying to "mark" my portable AC unit before running it off. The campsite smelled horrible the next day so instead of staying two more nights as planned we packed up, tossed the tent, and went home. We come here often because its close to home and I've honestly never had any sort of issues until this last time. Typically its fairly peaceful and when people do bring they're pets they clean up after them so you never really notice until you see someone walking and/or playing with them. The sites are normally clean and the people around tend to be friendly or just kept to themselves. This time was a lot different.
