Jen was the best tour guides! They spent time and effort with us! They were very sweet and kind. I recommend coming and getting the package! The resort is gorgeous.

Mountain Lakes Resort is praised for its beautiful setting and excellent hosts, particularly Jen, Bobby, and Ben, who provided exceptional service and made guests feel welcome. While the resort offers a variety of amenities and a clean environment, some visitors expressed concerns about the transparency of membership pricing and marketing practices. Overall, the experience is positive, with many guests recommending the resort for its pleasant atmosphere but advising caution regarding membership purchases.

It's sounds like a really nice place. We were called for 4 days 3 night camper stay for out anniversary and wanted to swap and pay the difference for cabin bc it's our 12 year anniversary and my husband it up in age so camper set up and all that goes with it is alot. So I called and the lady informed me the cabins are for members only so I guess will find something else to do

Bobby and Ben are two stand up fellas, they have been the best hosts to us ever. We enjoyed our time there with them and will definitely be back to see them. Great attitudes, great people, great conversation. The cottages and bunkhouses are AWESOME

Had an update discussion with Ben in the membership office. He was very personable and explained the resort updates clearly and thoroughly. We enjoyed talking to Ben but an update did not meet our needs or wants at this time. That is what made our discussion with Ben so pleasant and easy to talk to because it was not a pressured talk. Thank you so much for the update Ben and we enjoyed your company!

16k for a membership, then 8k when we said no. That’s deceptive marketing and a sign of lost trust. I would have expected the resort to have the decency to be honest with their pricing upfront. The photos I shared are of the pricing they wrote out. Also the suggestion of the rep that some people pull from their 401k accounts to get memberships as a loan was absolutely disturbing. That alone showed me profits are more of a concern than financial stability for the resort. The resort itself is very nice and clean. Plant of amenities to use and they background check all residents which gives a great feeling of safety in the campground. Definitely worth getting a membership but not from them. Instead go on the Facebook group and get a membership transferred, most people sell or give away their membership for little to nothing. Save your money
