The sites are large, you're not sitting on top of your neighbors. The campground is very woodsy and shaded, and back up to water. Relaxing and quiet. We camped on site 35 for 10 days and our friends were across the road from us. Enjoyed views of the water and campfires. Make sure you bring everything and a few extras that you might need, because there is only a General Dollar store 10 miles away. Nearest town is either Selma Alabama or Prattville Alabama and they are 35-40 miles away. Water/Electric only. Shower houses are cleaned daily and in great shape. Staff was great with checking in and for information about area. Would give 5 stars if sites were full hook-up.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds I have stayed at. I just completed a 60-day cross-country trip. I stay in the Corps of Engineers campgrounds, state parks, and private RV resorts.. This is by and far the best campground. Well maintained, nice sites, clean facilities etc.
