The camp ground is located in a great place the camp host were very nice. When we arrived the 30 amp power on our spot would not work so we contacted the host and he let use borrow his 50 amp adapter and got someone out to fix the problem right away. We are already planning another trip.

We stayed in site 46. We prefer the sites on the Alabama River side. This site was very shady and close to the observation deck and the bath house. Great place to ride bikes and kayak. The ladies at the gate were very helpful and efficient.

I love it here. Only draw back is the cell service. You have to drive almost to the front gate for a signal. Wish they would install cell boosters or wifi there.

Enjoyed the riverside spot. I have the book "The Wright Guide to Camping with the Corps of Engineers ". Book tells me there is swimming but the information received at check in say there is not a beach. I was disappointed. Here in Kentucky, most COE campgrounds have beaches.
