Campground was excellent as always! Note...the insects were here before we arrived and will be here long after we are gone. We plan accordingly and deal with whatever seasonal bugs are out. Camp hosts were great and had a marvelous experience. We love Prairie Creek!

Enjoyed the riverside spot. I have the book "The Wright Guide to Camping with the Corps of Engineers ". Book tells me there is swimming but the information received at check in say there is not a beach. I was disappointed. Here in Kentucky, most COE campgrounds have beaches.

I love it here. Only draw back is the cell service. You have to drive almost to the front gate for a signal. Wish they would install cell boosters or wifi there.

We stayed in site 46. We prefer the sites on the Alabama River side. This site was very shady and close to the observation deck and the bath house. Great place to ride bikes and kayak. The ladies at the gate were very helpful and efficient.
