Stayed at this RV site as was on our route. Very remote but beautiful area. Sites are very long and mostly level.

My family loved Praire Creek campground. We saw a huge gator and caught a huge snapping turtle. The camping spots were clean and spacious.

We love Prarie Creek, but something has changed about it when campers are all conversing, they are talking about the behavior of gate attendants. We never used to hear of such! Everyone was happy go lucky, just proud to be there and enjoying it. It is so sad that the actions of 2 can change yours and others camping experience, times are changing but this should not be affecting our peace and enjoyment over trivial stuff! It is true for sure a couple of bad apples can spoil the whole barrel! The attendance is off this means loss of revenue, plus less people are being over there! Get our park back the way it should be, we are not under Marshall law when we are camping and we shouldn’t be made to feel like that! We have friends that won’t camp anymore until this is corrected! We found the new attendants there are really nice and welcoming, but how long will they be there(until the friction and bad actions of others make them also leave), stop this it has gone on long enough! We camp every month there fix this issue!

Prairie Creek was a wonderful campground, beautiful, clean and easy to access. The people that checked us in were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. My only regret was that we didn't have more time and could stay longer.
