Prarie Creek always has clean sites and shower houses. Cell service is best on the river side when you can see the dam. We have been staying there twice a year for about 8 years and have always been happy with accommodations.

Very friendly and helpful camp Host during the check-in process. The Campground is very well maintained and quiet. Most Sites are very large with most of them right on the water. We'll be back!

We had planned an annual dog show and competition months in advance after meeting with the camp hosts to describe exactly what would occur and how many people were expected. Upon arrival, the camp hosts were terribly rude and caused each member of our association as much trouble as possible, even going so far as to say a member of the group had to come to gate each time an additional member arrived from a five-state area.
One bathhouse was disgusting and had no handicap accommodations. When that was reported to the park ranger his response was, "Oh, that bathhouse needs to be shuttered."
Many other campground volunteers and frequent campers stated the same complaints about the rude campground hosts. Will never use this facility again for any reason.

We camped in site 19, there were dog hunters at the pavilion, and their dogs barked most of the time. Called the camp host, they didn’t attempt to do anything.
There was no ranger on duty. Very dissatisfied with who can rent the pavilion

Prairie Creek is a very nice campground. Most of the sites are on the water and they are level. The campground has nice restrooms with showers and laundry.
