Me, my husband, our three kids, my dad and two dogs stayed for the weekend (friday-monday). It was quiet and peaceful and so relaxing which is what we were wanting before the craziness of school started. We fished and our youngest caught a little catfish. We watched young gators and even had one close to the bank by our campsites. The service was spotty but we didn't care because we were barely on our phones. We would definitely go back but during the fall when the mosquitoes aren't so bad.

All the facilities were neat. The entire park was clean and well cared for. The water and electric connections at our site worked well, and most, if not all, sites are fairly level. The workers were very friendly and courteous. The only caution I would give is that the county road leading towards the park from the main highway is not in the greatest shape. It's better than it was a year ago, but this is not a road you want to take too fast in a RV. It's very do-able. No problem. Just stay within the speed limit and you'll be fine. The park is worth the trip down the county road.
