Gunter Hill Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites that offer privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff and convenient amenities, making it a favored stop during travels. While some noted minor issues with customer service and bathroom conditions, the overall experience is highly positive, with a strong likelihood of return visits.

Nice large spaces and quite. Nice clean bathrooms. A great price for a FHU campground, especially if you have a NP pass.
The washer and dryers do not work, and according to the camp host, will not be fixed or replaced. That should be taken off the description.

This park was excellent. We loved the large spaces and the full hookups. The sites were cement pads that required little if any leveling. The bathrooms were heated which was nice.

Would have given 5 stars but bathrooms/showers were needing updated. Everything was clean just older.
Great pads for RVs!

my reservation was cancelled less than 3 weeks out. Luckily there were sites still open in a different campground.

I really like Gunther it’s one of our favorite parks when we’re traveling through the area. It’s always clean comfortable. Staff is great and however, this time I was a little disappointed, the fire ring was full of garbage, cigarettes bottles cigarette packs dumped charcoal. It was a mess I asked at the gate if they had somebody to clean it up they said no I ended up cleaning it up myself was just disappointing me her next time.

Gunter Hill campground is a wonderful place to camp. Spacious wooded sites, and nice amenities. A beautiful place to take walks, and nice for pets. Will definitely be back.
