Our family had a blast at Gunter Hill! The sites are well-spaced and surrounded by tall trees, providing a true camping atmosphere without feeling cramped. Our spot, 36, backed right up to the river—it was incredibly peaceful. The pads are level and paved, featuring a gravel area for the picnic table and tents, along with convenient electric and water hookups.
It’s a great area for walking, and the kids loved the playground located right outside the clean shower houses. Bonus: if you forget s'more supplies like we did, there’s a Dollar General just a half-mile away. For a very reasonable price, it was a perfect experience. Highly recommended!
