Great facilities but would be even better if it weren't for the paper mill smell .

Gunter Hill Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites that offer privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff and convenient amenities, making it a favored stop during travels. While some noted minor issues with customer service and bathroom conditions, the overall experience is highly positive, with a strong likelihood of return visits.

Very nice stay. Last day got up and had no water, was not informed it would be out. Otherwise was great as ever.

The location isn't bad. However, we weren't very happy with the cancellation policy. The AC in our trailer broke down the day before we were supposed to go to Gunter Hill. Thinking we wouldn't be able to make it, we cancelled, but an hour later we resolved the issue and decided to go anyway. To our surprise, we had to pay for the same site all over again. We didn't think that was right.

Sites are large and offer space between. Restrooms were very clean. Check-in was simple & hosts were very pleasant. Have camped there several times before & always have great experience. Will return again soon & recommend to others

The campground was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and shaded. My only complaint is that the campground host was non-existent! They never came around that we saw and were rarely in the gate house!
