Gunter Hill Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites that offer privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff and convenient amenities, making it a favored stop during travels. While some noted minor issues with customer service and bathroom conditions, the overall experience is highly positive, with a strong likelihood of return visits.

We stayed in site 33, site was level, shady all day and close to the restrooms. The restrooms was clean and the staff was very helpful. We will be back again.

Very nice COE campground. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean campground. We did not go into shower/restrooms so I don't know about those. The outside did look nice. Staying in late August we did not have many bugs. River side campsites need the banks cleared for a better view of the river. I definitely will be back.

Nice quiet campground. Stayed in pull-through site #30. FHUs. Reasonably priced. Look forward to staying again.

The campground was unkempt, it needs the brush, leaves and downed tree branches cleaned up, the electricity was not working when we arrived but, was fixed the 2nd day. It blew the breaker and had to be reset during our visit. We used the power from the site next to us the first night. We woke up the 2nd day to ants all over our trailer, inside and out. After spraying outside and putting antbait down it was better, but we still had to deal with them during our entire visit. We made the mistake of driving to the "improved" side of the park and found a nice, clean campground. Grass and trees maintained and we could see where their best efforts were going. If you go be sure to stay on the "nice" side and you will have a great time.

Nice concrete pull-through pad, so I didn't have to disconnect our flat tow car. We were on a water lot with a trail going down to the water; it was a little steep but doable. Also, it was very, very quiet, and we loved it.
