The campground was excellent. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Gunter Hill Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites that offer privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff and convenient amenities, making it a favored stop during travels. While some noted minor issues with customer service and bathroom conditions, the overall experience is highly positive, with a strong likelihood of return visits.

Our site was nice and level with plenty of shade on a cement pad. It had every hookup we needed. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes. We would definitely stay there again.

The space was as advertised and the staff was friendly and helpful. Areas of improvement are that fishing areas were not as abundant as advertised, cell service was very limited for me, and the showers could have been cleaner for those who wanted to use them.

Gunter Hill never has disappointed us. We stayed in site 10 which was plenty long enough that we did not even have to disconnect. Road getting to the campground is ruff and bumpy but campground layed back easy feeling is with the experience.

This was her second time to stay here. It’s a wonderful and quiet place to stay. We traveled to eat at Uncle Mick’s in Prattville for dinner… WOW! Live music at The Lyric. Just a real good time.
