Gunter Hill Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained sites that offer privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the helpful staff and convenient amenities, making it a favored stop during travels. While some noted minor issues with customer service and bathroom conditions, the overall experience is highly positive, with a strong likelihood of return visits.

Gunter Hill is one of our favorite COE campgrounds. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Sites are large, level and roomy. Beautiful views and some walking trails. Campground and bath houses are clean and well kept. Just a short dr e to Prattville, where you can find great shopping and food

Sites 69 and 67 kind of face each other around the curve so there is less privacy.
Paul M Grist State Park is about and hour away for some hiking trails.
There is a walking trail between the loops. If the creek is flowing under the pipe you have to take the road.

We truly enjoyed the seclusion of this campground. Nature and beauty at its best. The amenities were great including the clean restrooms and free laundry. We’ll definitely be back to see more of this beautiful campground.
